How to Prepare

Course of Study

Students are required to submit a tentative course of study including a list of eight courses of interest for the quarter they will be attending Cal Poly. Your academic choices will be made from a list of hundreds of classes taught during the quarter you choose to study at Cal Poly. You can view potential course options by reviewing the Cal Poly Course Catalog.

Credit transferability for these classes is determined by the student's home university. Please note prerequisite requirements for the classes you are interested in taking. You must meet all course prerequisites to be eligible to enroll. Please plan to bring a copy of your home university transcript to verify that you meet the required course prerequisites. It is also advisable to verify that your home university will accept the courses that you intend to enroll in while at Cal Poly as transfer credit.
